  I think the tag arguments would apply here, too. After all, panels 1 and 2 seem to be one of the classical ad hominems to refute critics – “you’re so negative!”

    I don’t think panels 1 and 2 are attacks on negativity. I think they’re attacks on convenient, lazy, smug, or self-aggrandizing generalizations.
