Trying something new this week: I’m posting comics every other day, instead of every day. I didn’t have enough idea notes for 5 strips this week, but I did have 3, so rather than give up I’m leaving off Tuesday and Thursday. Of course today (Monday) is Labor Day in the U.S., so maybe no one expects a comic today anyway. In that case, SURPRISE!

When you wish upon a star…
*sigh* Still trying to explain to my significant other, why Disney films aren’t such a hot idea for our kids. She just takes them all at face value and thinks they’re all about “being true to yourself” (*cough* as long as “yourself” is one of the very limited stereotypes they portray *cough*) and being courageous (*cough* just like the courage Disney encouraged in their WW2 propaganda films *cough*).
