Mad, sad, glad, afraid:
These words are about feelings.
Your blather is not.

From inside a cage
Everyone else in the world
Appears behind bars

If I stop running
I might feel my emotions.
Run from the feelings.

All of life’s questions
Answered by three magic words.
They are: “I don’t know.”

My great work of art
Is a great disappointment.
Did not change the world.

Soiled emotions
come out sparkling clean with a
quality brainwash.

My side of the street
Was covered with excrement.
Now it’s on your side.

I’m posting this as a reminder to myself.

I have to say no all the time now, but I still feel like I’m betraying my past self.

I’m not saying it makes any sense.
